Distology’s Privileged Access Management Vendor, Osirium, has been awarded “Cool Vendor” status by Gartner. The solution provided by Osirium has been recognised as innovative, impactful and intriguing.
As a minimum, Osirium offers organisations the ability to control and audit privileged user access to critical apps & infrastructure. The solution is built on the principle of least privilege which aims to create an environment where admin staff have the right level of access, to the right systems, at the right time.
“We believe being included in Gartner’s Cool Vendor report is very significant for this business,” said David Guyatt CEO at Osirium. “Also, we feel seeing Osirium’s PAM platform evaluated in this report demonstrates the teams dedication and innovative approach in breaking through the cyber security newsflow with a really exciting niche. For us, this is a company-wide achievement and we’ll certainly be enjoying the attention and benefits of becoming a Cool Vendor.”
Privileged Task Automation (PTA) is one feature that is unique to Osirium. PTA functionality means that senior admin are able to delegate tasks, opposed to privilege, to junior and third party admin. This functionality lessens the security risk associated with any ongoing maintenance in any environment.
